AI in EdTech: What Now?

While we are awash with grand predictions about the future on one hand a prompt engineering classes on the other, we urgently need to develop action plans for now, using today's AI technology, with the understanding that the capabilities of that technology are moving target, traveling at an unknown velocity. 1EdTech, a non-profit focused on creating a unified EdTech ecosystem that solves practical educational problems, is doing work and seeking ideas for where we can work together on such problems over a short time horizon. The panel will explore both work already underway within the 1EdTech community and areas where we could be working. The discussion will be highly interactive. Your input will help inform 1EdTech's plans for AI over the next 12 months.

Moderator:

  • Michael Feldstein, Chief Strategy Officer, 1EdTech Consortium

Panelists:

  • Norman Bier, The Simon Initiative, Executive Director, Carnegie Mellon University
  • Beatriz Arnillas, Vice President of Product Management, 1EdTech Consortium
  • Andrew Magliozzi, CEO, Mainstay
  • Victoria Pu, Co-founder & CEO, Pace AI
